Israel: The fall to Piracy

NEW YORK - MAY 11: British Foreign Secretary ...Image by Getty Images via @daylife

Today Israel sunk to it's lowest point in a decade, when it's military resorted to piracy. I am ashamed today to have Jewish blood running through my veins. This act was something people would have expected from the nazis, not Israel. What is next, making Palestians wear P's.
The United States has suffered decades of terrorist attacks, because of it's support of Israel. This is sure to inspire another. On 9/11 Islamic Extremists attacked the twin towers and killed 3000 people. This was the beginning of a decade of Americans dying, because we continue to support Israel.
No one knows as well as I do that there is a stubborn streak that runs in the blood of Jewish people. My grandfather demonstrated it his whole life through. In all the time we knew him he would simply show up unannouced from Detroit and expect us to be available to him. No matter how many times my mother asked him to tell her when he was going to visit, he would continue to show up out of the blue. It was like a fire drill when his car pulled up. All seven of us running around cleaning and dusting.
This is a rather trivial example of the stubborn streak he had and passed down to the rest of us, but it really demonstrates the stubborn streak that Most Jewish people have.
They decided that no food was going to get into gaza and damn the consequences to it's alies. Israel acts unilaterally quite often and they do not care what kind of effect it has on it's allies. They are hard headed to say the least. They have no sense of diplomacy as evident by the annoucement that they were going to build more settlements while the Vice President stood there clueless. That was a calculated move to embarrass he United States, which has done nothing, but support them.
It is time for the Security Council to impose harsh sactions on Israel. Until, they discontinue their rogue behaviors. The U.S. shouldn't block thany sanctions that the UN feel they need to impose. The past doesn't excuse the present. Israel is long past the threat of the NAZIS. It is sad that the holocaust happened, but many other pople were killed in the holocaust besides the Jews. There should never be another holocaust, but it is time for America allowing Israel to throw the holocaust in it's face. We need to begin to act in our own interest in the Middle East and if that doesn't coincide with Israel's interests. That is just too bad. No two countries agree on everything. The United States can not afford to have Israel using force against innocent people, who simply want to deliver humanitarian aide to people who have very few avenues for obtaing them.
We fought a bloody civil war in this country, but once it was setttled the north helpe to rebuild the south. We did it because it was the humanitaria and political thing to do. In the case of Israel though, we continuously see bull bozing of what were once Palistinian homes in order to make room for more Jewish settlements.
This is an embarrasing and disturbing pattern. It is also very destabalizing in the region. Israel must get passed it's childish and destructive behavior's and be more of a ally, so that the U.S.

Vietnam: The War And A Thank You

Major Crandall's UH-1D helicopter climbs skywa...Image via Wikipedia

They march every year. No one asked if they wanted to go, but a few volunteered. They served in fire basis that were islands in a sea of enemies. They "humped the boonies" searching for an enemy that, all to often, expected them. They crawled into tunnels to rout them out. They swooped into LZs chasing ghosts.
Some where in the neighborhood of 50,000 died with out a thank you. The survivor's stories are relegated to the history channel, but WW II vets still dwarf their sacrifices. After all this time they are still the lost soldiers. Their are still questions about their honor.
I am nearly 52 and I can remember night after night of war coverage. I remember the protests and the riots. In those days I wanted those boys to come home. I believed that their sacrifice was too great for such a small gain. The war ended the year my oldest brother got his draft card. He was part of the lottery. Now we think of the lottery as a dream of riches. Then it was a trip to basic for 10 weeks and a plane ride you didn't want to end.
When it did end, you were a walking corpse until you learned how to survive. A lot didn't get the chance to learn. Their names are etched on a black wall with so many others who died there. Some died terrible deaths that were witnessed by their buddies. Those men were haunted by those memories for years. Some are still haunted.
A fiend of mine was there. I didn't meet him until after the war. He was a man of tremendous character who didn't last long in country. He was unfortunate enough to step on a land mine. During the war some soldiers might have thought that he was lucky, because he got out with only a few fingers missing and surgeons were able to save his legs, so that he could walk. In a weird way I found myself thinking that he was lucky too, but now I know that he wasn't lucky. Vietnam had left physical and psychological scars and if stepping on a land mine is the lucky way to end your service, then there was no lucky way to end it.
We owe a great and terrible debt to Vietnam Veterans. They fought in a war that didn't exist. They served and died in a Police Action. It sound so tame. Almost like they spent their days writing speeding tickets and keeping peace at The State Fair. We know now that a war is a war. It took the loss of many of their lives to come to the realization. Those deaths taught us that life was very precious. Their service taught us that war is terrible. The debt we owe them is not just for their service. Though it is reason enough. The debt is for teaching us not to send our troops into harms way without standing behind them. We learned that soldiers are not to blame for wars and we learned not to go to war unless it is the last resort.
Sunday (here in Syracuse) the "Watch Fire" will be lit for all the soldiers that didn't come home. The dead and the Mia's, but the men lighting it should be remembered too. We should all say thank you to them for facing the horror of war, so that we didn't have to. To all of them a say thank you. It's not enough. Neither is welcome home. Please thank them and welcome them home also. For they have had the longest road home.
When you see them march in your town, let them know that you thank them too. If they ride through on Harley's it is because they have pledged that every soldier will be welcomed back. Never again will they allow a soldier to return, dead or alive without a friendly welcoming. They honor us by remaining in this country. A country that didn't meet them with cheers.
Finally, to all of them, "I say God Bless you"
To Chris and Chris and the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans I say, "We are honored to know that you walk among us."
There are still many that we pray for. Gods speed and be safe

$70 A Barrel

Unofficial seal of the United States CongressImage via Wikipedia

Oil pours out of the well in the "Gulf" by the barrel. It continues to destroy the envirement, but there is something else that hits me. We are paying $3.00 a gallon for gas and we keep hearing that there is an oil shortage, but thousand of barrels of oil a day are pouring from one well. If one well can produce this much oil,; Are we all being taken? If this was so precious a recource; why isn't this a national security issue?
I have long believed that we are being lied to about the amount of oil that is being produced in the world. This just brings me to a firmer belief that oil is abundant. I think that oil prices are being used to keep the U.S. economy stable. So, much tax money and other revenue comes from oil that the government has a desire to see oil prices continue to rise. Oil is a money maker for every level of government in this country and around the world. I think that the U.S. encourages oil prices to rise in order to offset the deficit.
Get ready for $4.00 a gallon gas again. BP and the companies involved in this tragic disaster are going to recoup their losses and your pocket is the place they are going to go. Since the 1970's The federal government has allowed energy cost to rise across the country. They are in bed with the energy companies and the anger we see fron Congress is designed to divert our attention away from their policies. Policies that are robbing us blind every time we drive our car or use energy to heat or light our abodes. Americans have become sissys. We can't stand up to our own government. The party in office is only a symptom of the problem. The problem is the carreer level government employees that run the day to day activities of the government.
At $70 dollars a barrel that is a hell of a lot of money floating around "The Gulf". Coincidently there is a hell of a lot of silence in Washinton about it. The government put the economy of our country into the hands of the oil companies and turned their backs. Now a few people in a government agency are getting fingers pointed at them. The bottom line is that the government sent the message to those people not to make waves in the oil companies tubs. They did what was expected of them. Now that the picture is becoming clear surrounding the government's policy a lot of people want to keep us distracted with picturesof oil floating around.
Finally, I would like to send my sincere sympothy for the families of the oil workers who were killed in this tradjedy. They have been lost in the story. Funny how the casualties seem to be forgotten. It is a disturbing pattern in the energy industry. From coal to oil and beyond.

The Dating Game

Windows logoImage via Wikipedia

Under the veil of dating on the Internet lies a world of hackers and sex peddling sites. I have uncovered what seems to be a hidden network, which may be linked. It is a world of big profits.
I have long known that hackers were using the lure of expensive software to lure people into sex sites. I did not however begin to put the pieces together until I got an email and a hacker tried to clean out my bank account.
Needless to say this ticked me off and I decided to track the hacker down. I don't recommend this to the average Joe. Hackers tend to stick together, but I was after an Albanian. In the process of tracking him I have found that there seems to be a whole underworld crime ring using Some Dating Sites, sex sites, and the torrents to a mass huge amounts of money and collect personal information for what I believe is criminal gain. I believe that if Government Agencies penetrate these sites they can solve many cases of identity theft, viral attacks, and scams of many kinds.
At this time I can not reveal any particular sites, but I recommend that people not use any dating sites that charge for many months of even a year upfront. Stay away from sites that say you can only cancel by mail.
Everyone should buy firewall software if they are going to use the net for financial transactions. No offense to Microsoft, but I recommend that you immediately go to the store and buy a program with firewall protection on it. There are several of these and CNet Central is one of many well known, dependable sites to find recommendations and reviews. You do not have to but a subscription to get good Firewall, Antivirus, and malware protection. Just because a Company is big doesn't mean they are the best. Since the dot com boom ended many software engineers have lost their jobs. Many of them have started their own software companies and are creating new software programs for Windows.
All software is not good, no matter who makes it. It is time to let your fingers do the walking, so that you can learn if the software you have does what it claims to do. Many computers come preloaded with software. What you must realize is software that comes preloaded is not necessarily the best. When it comes to your security, you should want nothing but the best. If you have your life on your computer you do not want someone hacking into your bank account, because they gained access to your computer's hard drive. Take it from me. "Gone in 60 Seconds" is not just the name of a movie. It is what happens to your money when a Hacker gains access to your hard drive. I knew the moment it began and I only managed to close the doors after he had transferred $150 dollars from my Pay Pal account. (By the way I highly recommend that you look into Pay Pal or Google's site to pay for things on the net.) There are advantages to these sites. One is if you happen to buy something from a con man, he wouldn't get your credit card information.
In my investigation I used PayPal to pay for memberships to some dating site and cancelled them. Many of these sites have repeating payments that kick in without your knowledge. I was following a trail, so I only needed access to the sites for a short period of time, which is good, because some of them didn't give me a full thirty days. Sites like Meet Locals are operated by a larger site that operate other dating sites. I will only reveal part of the larger companies name, Fling. I am in no way intimating that they are not operating within the law. You must do leg work on the Internet. The Internet is just like the rest of the business world. There are people who are not honest and you need to do your homework. You are your own first line of defense.

Terrorists May be posing as U.S. Citizens

terrorists at Mumbai with AK 47Image by dotcompals via Flickr

In what could be one of the hardest to detect schemes yet, terrorist from Militant Islamic Groups may be posing as U.S. citizens to access site where they can then freely chat. This could be happening on some dating sites that have chat built in.
It is unconfirmed, but it maybe that the terrorist are posing to be from states where they aren't citizens under fictitious U.S. identities. They friend each other on these more secure sites and then have discussions. If this is true then they could go undetected by authorities while planning an attack.
It is a fact that Ghanian's are doing this on some dating sites to lure in American men. There may be other nationalities who do this also. Since many sites do not check the origin of the IP and it can be routed through U.S. servers it has become easier for this kind of activity to occur. Many of these sites are payed sites that do not lend themselves to public scrutiny.
The Hidden News would like to appeal to members of these types of sites to report this kind of activity.

Internet Dating Busted

The Seal of the United States Federal Bureau o...Image via Wikipedia

So you want to meet that someone special in your area, but youv'e been missing him or her in every part of town. You decide to go to the internet and pay to meet someone. Well, some of these sights hire people to send you messages when you sign up for a free membership? They give those people 35 to 55 dollars for every person they get to sign up. There is at least one secret site that signs people up to lure you in and probably more.
In my investigation I found that many of the dating sites are linked together. They share profiles of people across the sights. These people are the people who lure you in. Strange that they all have silver memberships to the sites they contact you from.
I am not saying this happens with all internet dating, but it is very widespread. With women they pay Mr. Right to keep them hooked, because just like a bar, if there are no women, the men don't come.
Once they get you they hit your credit card upfront for the whole time period you signed up for, depending on your level. When this happens people stay to get their moneys worth. Maybe you think that you will cancel before it ends, but they hit your card again, before you can cancel. Some sites only let you cancel by mail. Mail can be, mysteriously, unable to reach the company in that case.
How to know if it's a scam? The thing to do is to right click on the sites page and click on view source. This will show you the code that they used to make the page. I know most people are not tech heads, but you can read. What you are looking for is names of other websites that the site is linked to. They will start with http://www. that is how you can recognize sites that you are sharing your information with directly. They also sell your info, in some cases, to third party companies. Next thing you know every email scammer is trying to get you send them money.
Here are the countries you do not want to have any internet contact with if you get an email that you didn't sign up to get, Ie spam. Ghana, nigeria, south Africa, England, The United States, (bet you didn't think of that, albania, china, and every other country, but especially these. If they don't send an email that has your name and directs you to go to a site that you have an account with, you don't want to know them. Hit delete immediately. If they send you a link, for god's sake don't use it. Keep your phone handy and have the numbers to the stores, credit cards, and banks in it. Do not label them as what they are in case your phone gets stolen. Call the institution that has contacted you and ask if they contacted you. Do not use a number on the email. This will save hundreds and thousands of dollars. If you call and they were not trying to contact you. Change all your passwords ASAP. I suggest using something that not even your husband or wife would know about. This seems stupid, but hackers and scammers are now stealing peoples user names and using them to contact people to get information. The same goes for texting. In ten seconds I can know all your relatives names, your schools, your freinds, your pets name, and pretty much anything that you have used on any unsecured internet site. If you don't beleive me go to My Life.com and check it out. There are hundreds of sights like this. If your cell phone company can sell your information stop doing buisness with them. Why? Because your phone number is used on many store and bank sites to identify you. Anyone can call you and tell you they are from a store or bank or whatever. They can also send you texts saying they are someone you know you answer back you are screwed. You can bet someone will be trying to access that site and if they do it's going to cost you. Guess whatI had them call and impersonate me and they got money transfered, but I secure my money, so it doesn't get out of my control, so I just transfered it back. Don't think you can do that.
If you think that there is any company that is protecting you think again. They get paid when this happens. They charge fees. Everyone wants money to fix it. It cost a minimum of ten thousand dollars to fix identity theft and in the mean time you haven't got access to those accounts, because they are frozen.
Being Lazy is a good way to hand someone your retirement, without even knowing it. The government has access to all of the scammers information, but unless you file a complaint when there is an attempt, they don't have the right to investigate. You need to go to the FBI Cyber crimes site and file a complaint and the more the better. Help stop scams, hacks, and other types of illegal activity. Remember, the next sucker might be you. If you take care of it when they attempt it, it may not go any further. Last tip. you have minimize the damage that is done or they don't have to restore the money back to your account. That means report, report, report.
